DIEGO FEURER lives and works in Tesserete, a traditional village in a forest near Lugano, Switzerland. Tesserete is easily accessible from the main cities of Milan and Zurich. Diego Feurer has been active in the field of glasswork art for many years. He creates his work in his large workshop in Tesserete. There he works on fusing, restoring antique stained glass windows, and building new artistic stained glass windows tied with lead, even in very large dimensions. An example of his work (165 square meters in size) can be found at the Residence for the Elderly in Morbio Inferiore, Southern Switzerland, which he completed in 1986.
